According to an announcement released on ShibaSwap earlier this week, the team behind Shiba Inu’s (SHIB) Metaverse project will now include Marcie Jastrow, a former Technicolor executive.

While contributing to the story behind creating the metaverse environment, Jastrow will provide consulting in areas such as brand collaborations and onboarding. According to the metaverse project team, Jastrow will play a critical role in providing a product that includes numerous aspects, including community comments and recommendations.

Jastrow, who has been with Technicolor for approximately ten years, has over 20 years of expertise in the entertainment sector. Grand Theft Auto V, God of War, FIFA, Mortal Kombat, and Call of Duty are just a few of Technicolor’s notable AAA video games.

The SHIB metaverse was introduced in late March, as you may recall. The SHIB team began the public sale stages a few weeks later, allowing users to purchase land using the ecosystem’s cryptocurrency, LEASH.

On the other hand, LEASH has been on the decline since the last phase of the property auction began. This might be one of the reasons why the SHIB team decided to enable land acquisitions through SHIB, as revealed in May.

The SHIB community has been anticipating the formal debut of the SHIB Metaverse with bated breath. This recent onboarding of such expertise from such popular games will add to the token’s expanding community’s enthusiasm.
